FAQ

Socks

Do they work?

In most cases, our socks stay on very well. However, every child is different and fit can vary between children, so we cannot guarantee the same result for everyone. For a clearer picture, please check the reviews on each product.

How does the skin react to the silicone dots?

IMPORTANT! A baby’s skin is sensitive and thinner than an adult’s, which makes it more prone to friction, heat, and pressure. We have received reports that some children have experienced skin reactions from direct contact with the silicone dots.

To reduce direct skin contact, we recommend wearing the socks over pants.

The silicone we use is 100% medical grade silicone. We have conducted tests to confirm its medical classification. It is biocompatible, meaning it is intended to be safe for skin contact, and it is free from harmful substances. Silicone is widely used in healthcare settings.

Are the socks tight?

The socks are not designed to stay on by being tight. They stay on through our stay on technology, including silicone dots inside the cuff together with elastic bands in the shaft and around the middle of the foot.

That said, we know the current fit can feel too tight for some children. We are actively working on adjusting the measurements to improve comfort across sizes. Because we refine fit over time, there may also be small variations between batches.

My child got blisters, why?

We are sorry to hear that your child has experienced irritation or blisters. While silicone allergy is very rare, blisters can occur from friction combined with heat, moisture, or movement.

Other factors can also contribute, such as certain skin creams, detergents that leave residue, or soaps that irritate the skin when combined with friction. There can be multiple reasons, and we cannot give a definitive explanation in every case.

If blisters or skin irritation occur, stop using the socks and allow the skin to heal. If you are concerned, please seek medical advice.

Is it the anti slip feature that makes the socks unique?

No. Anti slip soles are common. What makes our socks different is the stay on technology, including silicone dots on the inside of the shaft and elastic bands in the shaft and around the middle of the foot. The anti slip sole is an added bonus.

Do feet get cold because of the anti slip sole?

We have seen mixed opinions, and we have not found research showing that anti slip soles cause colder feet. If warmth is your main concern, consider our wool socks with 80% wool, designed to help regulate temperature.

COTTON SOCKS

Machine wash at 40°C.

WOOL SOCKS

Machine wash at 30°C.

Wash in a laundry bag with similar colors or separately. Do not tumble dry. Preferably use an environmentally friendly, gentle detergent without bleach. Avoid fabric softener, as it may impair the fabric’s quality and function. Do not iron. Remove pilling with a fabric shaver.

Swimwear

Should my child wear sunscreen if he or she is already wearing UV protective clothing?

Yes. UV protective clothing provides strong protection, but sunscreen adds an extra layer, especially on areas not fully covered, and in places where the fabric can stretch or shift during play.

Is the swimwear fabric sensitive?

Yes. The polyester birdseye mesh is delicate and can snag if it catches on something. The fabric may also stretch if the garment is too tight.

Bibs

How absorbent are the bibs?

Based on customer reviews, our bibs help keep the child dry for longer. For best performance, the bib should sit snugly around the neck. If it is too loose, drool can leak over the edge and run down behind the bib.
