The story
Hello, my name is Celina Lorén Saffar.
When I was 22, I gave birth to my first daughter Leoni. She was born in cold and dark Stockholm in the winter of 2019. Twice a week I took Leoni with me for mommy bootcamp. While the mothers were panting and struggling, the babies were playing on the floor. Socks slipped off the babies and they were lying everywhere on the floor. As a result of my ADD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity), I was more focused on the socks-chaos than the training itself. Then it hit me. I'm going to create the world's best baby socks. I felt my whole body start to tingle and just wanted to get started working. But Leoni needed a new diaper, food and sleep first.
After a few weeks we went on a factory hunt in Turkey. A country known for good cotton. There I got to examine the factory environments, look at color maps and start the process. It took many samples to create what today is STUCKIES®. It took a lot of energy to create a product that would meet my requirements and expectations. From the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank my husband, Mattias and Leoni for being patient with me. After all, it is really fun to develop products that "stick around" and contribute to a reduced consumer society.
